Reporting to the Department Head, Plan Management, the Analyst, Plan Management will be mainly responsible for completing the information required for the implementation of a group or a transfer of insurer and validating the brochures, contracts and riders.

The incumbent is expected to:

  • Complete files upon implementation, transfers, renewals, changes or cancellations
  • Send follow-up emails for forms not received, validate the exceptions ledger, and import data or enter data manually as needed
  • Perform all changes that do not coincide with a renewal or a transfer of insurer
  • Validate drug profiles issued upon implementation, transfer of insurer or changes
  • Prepare dental profiles upon implementation, transfer of insurer or changes
  • Follow up on renewals not received
  • Track receipt of brochures, contracts and riders and validate them in accordance with model groups
  • Create and update model groups
  • Take part, upon request, in tests performed during the implementation or enhancement of tools/software
  • Support the Member Management Analysts, as needed
  • Perform any other related duties at the supervisor’s request
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • College Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in group insurance
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
  • Judgment, integrity, honesty
  • Flexibility, resourcefulness and ability to work independently
  • Very good command of spoken and written English and French
  • Good command of Microsoft Office suite
