Our job offer

Reporting to the Department Head - Member Management, the Analyst, Member Management for “Admin Plus”-type plans will be mainly responsible for properly managing group member movements in place of the administrator and answering requests from group members and, at times, from administrators.

The incumbent is expected to:

  • Check the eligibility of transactions originating from members (paper, email, phone) or from administrators (portal, paper, email, phone, payroll files), and approve or refuse such transactions in compliance with group insurance rules and procedures;
  • Ask members and administrators for any information required to approve or refuse a member movement;
  • Take calls from members on the administration of their plan (change of coverage, option or beneficiary and questions), forward them the necessary forms and follow up on form completion;
  • Send and track declarations of health for late enrollments and handle the related confirmations;
  • Answer requests received from administrators through the billing inbox or by phone;
  • Prepare outstanding balance reconciliations, upon request from administrators;
  • Prepare various letters in reply to requests from members and administrators;
  • Forward letters when members turn 65-70-75, when dependents turn 25/26 and any other correspondence;
  • Maintain a satisfactory level of knowledge to provide accurate and quality service;
  • Support the billing clerk with his/her tasks, as needed;
  • Take part, upon request, in tests performed during the implementation of new tools/software or the enhancement of these tools/software;
  • Ensure internal and external client service;
  • Perform any other related duties at the supervisor’s request.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • College diploma;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in group insurance;
  • Customer service experience;
  • Very good command of English and French, spoken and written;
  • Keen sense of customer service delivery;
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities;
  • Judgment, integrity, honesty;
  • Flexibility, resourcefulness and ability to work independently;
  • Ability to protect confidential information.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office suite;
