Your mandate will primarily be to ensure the efficient management and optimization of the department’s operations. This includes overseeing daily activities, coaching and developing team members, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and organizational practices. Your main tasks will include:
Operations Management
- Oversee daily activities and ensure deadlines and productivity targets are met;
- Plan workload and adjust resources as needed (overtime, prioritization);
- Monitor quality audits and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are implemented;
- Update and optimize work procedures.
Team Management
- Participate in recruitment and employee selection;
- Ensure proper onboarding, training, and integration of new employees;
- Coach, engage, and monitor employee performance;
- Conduct performance evaluations and follow-up meetings;
- Manage timesheets, vacations, and absences.
Quality and Continuous Improvement
- Establish and monitor service quality standards;
- Recommend and implement improvements to processes, tools, and work methods;
- Track improvements and produce periodic reports.
Coordination and Communication
- Plan and lead team meetings;
- Participate in operational meetings and corporate projects;
- Coordinate the implementation of major or special accounts;
- Ensure effective communication of information, procedures, and best practices.
Internal & External Relations
- Act as a key contact for insurers and partners;
- Support partners during audits or implementation processes;
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service.
Training and Development
- Identify training needs and organize targeted sessions;
- Contribute to team skills development;
- Develop and deliver training sessions or presentations.
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of tools and systems;
- Contribute to special projects;
- Perform any other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in group insurance;
- Strong leadership and people management skills;
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
- High level of autonomy and ability to prioritize work independently;
- Strong judgment, integrity, and professionalism;
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
