Martin Papillon

Martin Papillon is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and holds an MBA from HEC Montréal. Throughout his career, he has been working in the group insurance and retirement sector. Before joining AGA in 2013, he held advisory and senior management positions with world-class consulting actuarial firms.

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Corporate Director (ASC), Chantal Dufresne is a manager with more than 20 years of experience in the operational management of small and medium-sized businesses. She held management positions in several accounting firms and worked in a self-employed capacity for a few years. With this background, she brings to AGA her skills and technical knowledge in financial accounting, management and administration. As a board member, she helps define the strategic direction of the organizations she assists and distinguishes herself through her expertise in governance, internal controls and risk management.

Nathalie Laporte
Senior Vice President, Consulting, Underwriting and Actuarial Services

Nathalie Laporte has spent most of her career in employee benefits, including 15 years with Desjardins Insurance as Vice-President, Development, Marketing and Strategy for groups and businesses. During the past four years, she worked in pharma at Pfizer Canada as Senior Manager responsible for client relations and partnerships with private insurers. She was also a Board Member of the Quebec Drug Insurance Pooling Corporation (QDIPC) and the Canadian Drug Insurance Pooling Corporation (CDIPC). Nathalie holds a Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval and a Master’s Degree in Finance from HEC Montréal, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).

Francine has an educational background in actuarial science and more than 30 years of experience in the group insurance and retirement industry. At AGA, she leads our teams that support our clients and their employees in their interactions with their benefits program nationwide. This includes activities from plan implementation to claims processing. Francine is also responsible for the teams in charge of AGA +PLUS, ELHT, student administrative services, health spending accounts (BeneFitsMyWay), along with the Cangaroo HRIS platform.

Francine contributes to the growth of AGA, while maximizing the potential of our expanding team across Canada!

Massimo Nini is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) and holds a Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science from Concordia University. Prior to joining AGA, he held leadership positions with firms operating in the employee benefits consulting and the accident & health reinsurance space. Over the years, he has provided actuarial, retirement and benefits consulting services to organizations of various sizes, including large pan-Canadian and international organizations. He a is member of the CIA’s Health Committee and is a licensed insurance agent in Ontario, Quebec and other provinces across Canada.

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Sciences from Université de Montréal and Associate of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (ACIA) and the Society of Actuaries (ASA), Jhonny brings 20 years of experience in benefits consulting, including the past 16 years with a global actuarial consulting firm. During this time, besides acting as senior advisor, he played a significant role in business development/visibility, and also as a manager, mentor and member of the local leadership team.

Jhonny supervises the team of account managers and senior advisors, and implements the structures required for AGA’s growth and profitability, particularly in the Greater Montreal area. A dynamic and passionate leader, Jhonny takes on challenges with confidence and enthusiasm!

Todd has extensive experience working with Multi-Employer Trusts, ELHTs, Casual Workforces, and Flexible Benefit Plans. His undergraduate studies were completed at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he received his Honors Bachelor of Business Administration.
