Your mandate will consist in:

Your mandate will consist of contributing to a variety of projects that have a tangible impact on the company’s growth. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to accelerate their professional development, gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and strategic decision support with a dynamic and collaborative team. Your main tasks will include:

  • Prepare monthly strategic presentations for management and investors;
  • Prepare and analyze various financial reports;
  • Perform forecasting and variance analysis;
  • Prepare KPIs and synthesize research information, such as comparable companies and prior transactions, for use in modeling, competitive analysis, sector analysis, negotiation support, and various other applications;
  • Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and in updating multi-year projections;
  • Build detailed financial models and perform preliminary analyses to assess investment opportunities;
  • Participate in drafting recommendation memorandums for investment approval;
  • Support acquisition follow-up activities;
  • Assist the Vice President in process improvement and efficiency initiatives;
  • Perform any other related duties as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting;
  • CPA designation or in the process of obtaining a CFA or CBV designation;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • Proficiency in both English and French, written and spoken (Fluency in English and French is essential since the position holder will collaborate with and provide technical support to employees, partners, and suppliers located in different regions across Canada, particularly in Quebec and Ontario, in a bilingual work environment.);
  • Strong initiative;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Experience in a professional services firm (an asset);
  • Experience in financial services (an asset);
  • Financial modeling (an asset).
