The Prior Authorization Framework and Accreditation (PAFA) Program has developed a framework of efficiencies in prior/special authorization administration processes and practices that payers can refer to, and an accreditation program that recognizes payers who adopt PAFA efficiencies. The PAFA program has been developed in response to research findings that identify ongoing challenges within PA administration processes and practices in Canada and elsewhere. Massimo Nini, Senior Vice President, Consulting, Underwriting and Actuarial Services at AGA, has been appointed to PAFA’s Advisory Board.
Our clients think big, and businesses are increasingly employing human resources abroad. That’s why AGA has joined the International Benefits Network, one of the world’s largest networks of health and wellness consultants, as a benchmark provider.
Benefits Alliance is an association of 28 carefully selected independent Canadian benefits and financial services firms and more than 200 advisors, who share their ideas to help their clients advance. Martin Papillon, our CEO, is a board member of Benefits Alliance.
Martin Papillon also sits on the board of directors of TPAAC, a group of 20 member firms that collectively represent over 80,000 plan sponsors. As a leading player in Canada’s group insurance industry, TPAAC contributes deep insights and expert support to its members and Canadian government bodies.
Benefit Advisors Network (BAN) is an exclusive, premier, international network of independent, employee benefit brokerage and consulting companies. BAN provides industry leading tools, technology, and expertise to member firms so that they can deliver optimum results to their own clients. This partnership allows AGA to significantly broaden its services with expanded resources across the United States and abroad.
