Your mandate will consist in:

Your mandate will be to provide advisory services to a portfolio of small and medium-sized clients. You will be responsible for presenting group insurance renewal terms, leading training sessions, information meetings, and courtesy visits, while supporting plan sponsors in addressing their needs and resolving issues. You will also actively contribute to business development and the growth of the client portfolio. Your main tasks will include:

  • Ensure renewals are prepared within prescribed timelines, analyze and validate information, present renewal terms to plan sponsors and/or brokers, and contribute to client retention;
  • Explain the various group insurance coverages to plan sponsors and insured members during information sessions;
  • Promote AGA Benefit Solutions products and services to clients and brokers, manage assigned business opportunities or develop new ones to achieve sales objectives;
  • Coordinate the implementation and enrollment of new groups, as well as the transfer of existing groups, and ensure follow-ups related to information requests;
  • Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) in collaboration with the pricing and actuarial team;
  • Collaborate with the AGA +PLUS division and/or insurers by providing required information and forms during group sales, new plan implementations, group transfers or terminations, as well as during annual or promotional enrollment campaigns;
  • Conduct courtesy visits throughout the year with groups under your responsibility to maintain strong business relationships, strengthen ties with group representatives, and support problem resolution;
  • Develop an annual business plan to ensure growth and retention of the client portfolio;
  • Perform quarterly follow-ups on actions to ensure successful execution of the business plan;
  • Gather and share information on methods, products, and procedures to support continuous improvement of AGA service quality;
  • Actively participate in sales meetings and new product meetings as needed;
  • Represent AGA at conventions or conferences, lead or participate in training sessions as a subject-matter resource, and prepare post-event reports;
  • Assume any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications required:

  • University degree (Bachelor's);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in group insurance;
  • Valid AMF license in Quebec;
  • Experience in group retirement plans and/or third-party administration is an asset;
  • Strong knowledge of social legislation;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Strong command of both French and English, spoken and written (Proficiency in both English and French is essential to analyze and understand contractual documents, brochures, and communications originating from internal and external sources, often written in either language. It is also required to provide telephone and email support to French‑speaking clients across Canada and to interact effectively with colleagues located outside the province);
  • Candidate must be available for frequent travel; a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated judgment, integrity, and honesty;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information;
  • Professionalism, resourcefulness, autonomy, and strong organizational skills.
