Your mandate will consist in:

Your mandate will be to provide advisory services to a portfolio of small and medium-sized clients. You will be responsible for presenting group insurance renewal terms, leading training sessions, information meetings, and courtesy visits, while supporting plan sponsors in addressing their needs and resolving issues. You will also actively contribute to business development and the growth of the client portfolio. Your main tasks will include:

  • Ensure the preparation of renewals within established deadlines, analyze and validate information, present renewal terms to plan sponsors and/or brokers, and support client retention efforts.
  • Explain insurance plan coverage to plan sponsors and plan members.
  • Promote AGA Benefit Solutions’ products and services to clients and/or brokers, manage assigned business opportunities, and develop new opportunities to achieve sales objectives.
  • Coordinate the implementation and registration of new groups, as well as the transfer of existing groups, and follow up on requests for information.
  • Collaborate with the AGA +PLUS division and insurers by providing all required information and documentation for the sale of a group, implementation of a new plan, group transfers, group terminations, and annual or promotional membership campaigns.
  • Conduct courtesy visits with the groups under their responsibility to maintain strong relationships, build lasting business partnerships with group leaders, and provide support in resolving issues.
  • Gather information on methods, products, procedures, and other developments that may help AGA improve service quality, and recommend constructive solutions.
  • Participate in sales meetings and meetings related to new products, as required.
  • Represent AGA at conventions and seminars, facilitate or support training sessions as a subject matter expert or resource person, and prepare post-event reports.
  • Perform other duties related to the position, as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications required:

  • University degree (administration, finance, marketing, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in group insurance
  • Must hold a valid licence issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) 
  • Experience in group retirement plans and/or third-party administration (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of social legislation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong command of both French and English, spoken and written (Proficiency in both English and French is essential to analyze and understand contractual documents, brochures, and communications originating from internal and external sources, often written in either language. It is also required to provide telephone and email support to French speaking clients across Canada and to interact effectively with colleagues located outside the province)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Frequent travel is required. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated judgment, integrity, and honesty
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Professionalism, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently
