Your mandate will consist in...

Your mandate will be to lead various business improvement and continuous improvement initiatives related to the Plan Administration, Member Administration, Claims, and Customer Service teams (AGA+ Services), while supporting the annual audit processes conducted by various insurers. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in plan administration, member administration, claims, and customer service.

  • Gather information on methods, products, procedures, and other relevant practices to help the organization improve the quality of its services and develop constructive solutions.

  • Identify and communicate the team’s business needs to the Operations team.

  • Participate in business requirements analysis with the goal of optimizing the organization’s processes and systems.

  • Ensure processes are properly understood and consistently executed across various departments and by employees.

  • Participate in and represent the business area in development projects involving multiple teams across the organization.

  • Participate in the development of IT systems, perform testing, and collaborate on solution optimization.

  • Develop tools, templates, and guides to improve team efficiency.

  • Ensure the effective organization and maintenance of systems, libraries, and networks.

  • Take ownership of the implementation and deployment of electronic data transfer (EDI) and electronic enrollment processes:

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute electronic data transfer and electronic enrollment implementation projects.

    • Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate configurations.

    • Ensure production deployment and transition to regular operations within established timelines.

    • Act as a senior advisor to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including Administration, IT, Sales, Customer Service, and Compliance.

    • Support management in coordinating the annual audit processes conducted by various insurers.

    • Support managers with special projects involving insurers, partners/brokers, and products/clients.

    • Collaborate on integrations related to acquisitions and/or mergers by assessing needs, workflows, tools, documentation, and other requirements.

  • Contribute to the development of training programs for employees within the Plan Administration sector.

  • Participate in practice committee and operational committee meetings.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. 

Qualifications

  • University degree (Bachelor’s) or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in group insurance.

  • Experience in business analysis or strategic consulting is an asset.

  • Knowledge of various technology environments (APIs, file-based interfaces, payroll systems, etc.) is an asset.

  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of employment and social legislation.

  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Excellent written and spoken French and English.

  • Ability to translate and simplify technical concepts for business stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and autonomy.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to bring stakeholders together and build consensus.

  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Sound judgment, integrity, and honesty.

  • Ability to safeguard and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
