Your mandate will consist in:

Your mandate will be to play a key role in driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and deepening client relationships in the group retirement space. You are a self starter with strong retirement expertise who proactively identifies opportunities, builds strategic partnerships, and delivers high value advisory support. Your main tasks will include:

Business Development and Growth

• Generate new group retirement business by identifying prospects, presenting solutions, and promoting firm offerings;
• Strengthen relationships with partner brokers to support joint sales efforts and unlock new opportunities;
• Promote proprietary and complementary products, maximizing growth in every interaction;
• Support advisors with key sales initiatives and follow up on strategic opportunities. 

Client Management and Advisory

• Maintain strong relationships with client groups through regular touchpoints and proactive issue resolution;
• Prepare and present governance reports that deliver clear insights and recommendations;
• Lead plan sponsor and member meetings to explain plan features and support engagement;
• Provide continuous, solution focused service that enhances retention and uncovers growth potential. 

Implementation and Partner Coordination

• Oversee onboarding and transitions of new and existing groups;
• Collaborate effectively with insurers and partners to provide required documentation and support;
• Handle inquiries related to plan setup, changes, and operations. 

Market Engagement and Leadership

• Represent AGA Benefit Solutions at events, acting as an ambassador and subject matter expert;
• Share market intelligence to strengthen competitive positioning and service quality;
• Contribute actively in sales meetings and SWAT sessions. 

Other Duties

• Perform other related tasks as required.

Qualifications required:

• University level (Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in group retirement plans
• Must hold a license in personal insurance (LLQP)
• Strong understanding of industry laws and regulations and they pertain to retirement and benefit plans
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written (Proficiency in English is required, as administrative transactions are processed in both languages. A detailed analysis and thorough understanding of administrative contractual information relating to insurance enrollments and changes, without error, is also necessary)
• Willingness to travel; a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required
• Demonstrated judgment, integrity, and honesty
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
• Professionalism, resourcefulness, autonomy, and a proactive mindset
