Your mandate will consist in...

Your mandate will consist of working closely with group insurance advisors, and you will be primarily responsible for conducting renewal analyses, requesting and analyzing quotes, and ensuring the implementation of plans. Your main tasks will include:

Renewal:

  • Analyze renewal proposals submitted by the insurers;
  • Enter information into our database and produce preliminary analysis for advisors;
  • Finalize files following negotiations and produce renewal reports;
  • Ensure follow up on files and confirm acceptance of the renewal conditions.

Quotes:

  • Produce requests for quotes and send them to insurers;
  • Answer questions and follow up with insurers;
  • Validate all guarantees sent by insurer and ensure their compliance based on the recommendation of the advisor;
  • Prepare required signature documents (implementation documents).

Entry Into Force:

  • Validate the required signed documents;
  • Cover the whole process of starting a file and send electronic files;
  • Perform the required transaction in the system.

Other:

  • Produce the calculation tools of payroll deductions, employer contributions and taxable benefits;
  • Answer the inquiries of insurers, external advisors and other internal services;
  • Complete the activity report and confirm the commission level in effect on each file;
  • Support the development of tools, methods and reports to help AGA improve the quality of its services;
  • Validate the work produced by analysts to ensure its quality and relevance, and support them in their learning as required;
  • Perform any other duties delegated by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in insurance, administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in group insurance (an asset);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English (Fluency in French and English is essential in order to analyze and understand contractual documents, brochures, and communications from internal and external sources, often written in either language, as well as to interact effectively with English-speaking colleagues located outside the province.);
