AGA Financially Supports the Mission of the Fondation du CHU de Québec

AGA Benefit Solutions is very present in the greater Québec City region, whether through its commercial activities or its community involvement. It is in this context that the company announces today its financial contribution to the acquisition of an intra-hospital transport incubator by the Fondation du CHU de Québec, intended for the neonatology department of CHU de Québec–Université Laval’s hospital.
As part of its social involvement policy, AGA will donate $10,000 each year for the next three years to the Foundation. After reaching out to other partners, AGA also succeeded in raising an additional $11,000, bringing the total contribution to the Fondation du CHU to $41,000.
The donation was confirmed during a visit to the CHU de Québec Mother-Child Centre earlier this January, in the presence of representatives from AGA, the Foundation, and the hospital.
In certain situations related to health problems shortly after birth, babies may require magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The intra-hospital incubator enables the safe transport of newborns and helps maintain their physiological stability during MRI examinations, while ensuring reliable results. This equipment significantly improves care for the benefit of young patients and their families.
“The CHU de Québec–Université Laval plays an essential role for families in Québec City and surrounding areas, a region in which AGA is strongly rooted. We are proud to support its mission with this donation to the Fondation du CHU de Québec, in line with our social involvement policy, one of whose objectives is to support children’s health,” said Chantal Dufresne, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of AGA Benefit Solutions.
“We are deeply grateful for AGA's support of our mission. Thanks to this donation, we will be able to provide even safer, higher-quality care to newborns, while bringing immense comfort to their families. This partnership perfectly illustrates how the generosity of our partners helps improve the lives of children and their communities,” added Chantal Pilon, President and CEO of the Fondation du CHU de Québec.
Thanks to the contribution of numerous financial partners of the Fondation du CHU de Québec over the past two years, the acquisition of the incubator is currently underway.
AGA would like to highlight the collaboration of Jouet K.I.D., an AGA client and long time donor to the Fondation du CHU, whose support made this donation possible.
