As part of AGA’s increased presence and expansion strategy across Canada, we are proud to welcome Mariana Ancira in the role of Vice President, Western Canada. Based in our Vancouver office, Mariana will be responsible for leading the consulting team in Western Canada, assuming key client responsibilities, and supporting AGA’s growth plans in this geography.

Mariana brings over 20 years of Health & Benefits experience across Canada and the United States, with a career that spans management, growth strategy, channel partnerships, customer success, and consulting. Before joining AGA, she spent the last three years with a global consulting firm in a leadership position within their Health & Benefits team, and has held previous important roles with insurance carriers, broker/consulting firms, and a benefits technology platform. She has extensive experience advising clients across a wide range of sizes and industries, with a strong focus on innovation. She also has significant expertise supporting US–Canada cross-border clients, Mergers and Acquisitions, multi-employer benefit plans, and unionized workforces.

With the addition of a third office in the region following the acquisition of Quikcard’s operations last May, Western Canada is a key hub for AGA’s future. Mariana’s arrival is a definite asset as we seek to expand our presence in this market and offer the best of people and technology to our clients, members, partners and employees.
