The fees for certain health care services can vary from one provider to another, and even from one Canadian province to another.

Insurance companies monitor market fee trends to create a list of "reasonable" fees for each service that are representative of industry standards. You can find a list of these fees for each Canadian province in the document below.

Reasonable and Customary Charges (PDF)

 

These amounts represent the maximum amount the insurance company will pay for a given service. In case your provider charges more than the established amounts, you will have to pay the difference.
