Martin Papillon

Martin Papillon is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and holds an MBA from HEC Montréal. Throughout his career, he has been working in the group insurance and retirement sector. Before joining AGA in 2013, he held advisory and senior management positions with world-class consulting actuarial firms.

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Corporate Director (ASC), Chantal Dufresne is a manager with more than 20 years of experience in the operational management of small and medium-sized businesses. She held management positions in several accounting firms and worked in a self-employed capacity for a few years. With this background, she brings to AGA her skills and technical knowledge in financial accounting, management and administration. As a board member, she helps define the strategic direction of the organizations she assists and distinguishes herself through her expertise in governance, internal controls and risk management.

Nathalie Laporte

Nathalie Laporte has spent most of her career in employee benefits, including 15 years with Desjardins Insurance as Vice-President, Development, Marketing and Strategy for groups and businesses. During the past four years, she worked in pharma at Pfizer Canada as Senior Manager responsible for client relations and partnerships with private insurers. She was also a Board Member of the Quebec Drug Insurance Pooling Corporation (QDIPC) and the Canadian Drug Insurance Pooling Corporation (CDIPC). Nathalie holds a Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval and a Master’s Degree in Finance from HEC Montréal, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).

Holder of a Bachelor Degree from Université Laval and an Executive MBA from Queen’s University, Martin Bédard has more than 20 years of experience in group insurance, as senior executive on the insurer side, responsible for national business development through various networks (brokerage, MGAs, TPA, TPP and direct), in charge of developing traditional group insurance products, individual conversion products and credit insurance products, as well as implementing client experience. Drawing from his background in team sports, he firmly believes that an innovative organization that cares about its clients and partners must include people with similar values and complementary talents, where valuing everyone’s ideas makes for a better team.

Massimo Nini

Massimo Nini is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) and holds a Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science from Concordia University. Prior to joining AGA, he held leadership positions with firms operating in the employee benefits consulting and the accident & health reinsurance space. Over the years, he has provided actuarial, retirement and benefits consulting services to organizations of various sizes, including large pan-Canadian and international organizations. He a is member of the CIA’s Health Committee and is a licensed insurance agent in Ontario, Quebec and other provinces across Canada.

Todd Rappitt has been working in group insurance since 1996, providing innovative solutions and outsourcing of benefit programs for a variety of clients. Todd has extensive experience working with Multi-Employer Trusts, ELHTs, Casual Workforces, and Flexible Benefit Plans. His undergraduate studies were completed at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he received his Honors Bachelor of Business Administration. He currently is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), holds his Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) and Master of Trust Management Standards (MTMS)
