Your mandate will consist in:

Your mandate will consist for maintaining and servicing a portfolio of major accounts and supporting the deployment of solutions developed by AGA for servicing major accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for meeting assigned sales objectives. Your main tasks will include:

  • Ensure the preparation of renewals within the stipulated deadlines, analyze and validate; the information, present the renewal to the various group managers and/or brokers and ensure customer retention;
  • Explain insurance plan coverage to group leaders or to insured members;
  • Promote AGA products and services to clients and/or brokers and take charge of assigned business opportunities or develop new ones directly to achieve sales objectives;
  • Coordinate the establishment and registration of new groups as well as the transfer of existing groups and follow up on requests for information;
  • Collaborate with the AGA +PLUS sector or insurers by providing all the information and forms required when selling a group, a new plan, a group transfer, the termination of a group, any other annual or promotional membership campaign;
  • Make courtesy visits to the groups under his/her responsibility to maintain a special relationship, create lasting business links with group leaders, and support in problem solving;
  • Collect information on methods, products, procedures, and other information likely to help AGA Benefit Solutions improve the quality of its services while providing constructive solutions;
  • Participate in sales meetings and meetings regarding new products, when necessary;
  • Represent AGA Benefit Solutions at conventions or seminars, participate in training sessions as a facilitator or resource person and produce an event report;
  • Perform any other duties related to the position or delegated by his/her supervisor.

Qualifications required:

  • University degree (administration, finance, marketing, etc.) or 5 years of experience in group insurance;
  • Must hold a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation (CEBS);
  • Very good knowledge of benefits legislation;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Advanced proficiency in both oral and written English language skills;
  • Have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle, as frequent travel is required;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate judgment, integrity and honesty;
  • Ability to protect confidential information;
  • Professionalism, resourcefulness and ability to work independently.
